MV Agusta displays Superveloce 800 at EICMA 2018

Apart from showcasing the most powerful bike in the Brutale range, the Brutale 1000, the Italian ultra-exotic motorcycle maker, MV Agusta has something even more special in stores for us. The new modern-retro supersport which has been unveiled at the EICMA 2018 is christened as the Superveloce 800.

The new Superveloce 800 comes dripped in carbon-fibre bodywork from top to bottom, and what makes it even more special is its 70’s styling. The motorcycle has been built on the same engine and chassis platform as the F3 800 but the output figures have not been made public as of yet.

The bike flashes its old-school retro-looking circular headlamp which is capped by a full-length windscreen for a decent wind deflection. At the back, it packs a full LED tail light which is circular. It comes with a full-colour TFT dash and features a high-end electronics package which includes ABS, 8-level traction control, electronic quick shifter, rear lift mitigation system and much more.

The good news is that it will not be just limited to a concept and will also make way to a production model by late 2019. And Indian launch might take place somewhere between mid to late 2020.

When launched it will compete against the BMW R nineT and other bikes of the same class. Stay tuned for more updates.
