After ruling the beauty world with her make-up brands, Rihanna is finally ready to take the plunge into the world of fashion.
New York: Rihanna is partnering with LVMH Moët Hennessy to launch a new fashion label. The pop star, born Robyn Rihanna Fenty, announced Friday that a new line called Fenty will debut this spring and will be based in Paris.
Fenty “is centered on Rihanna, developed by her and takes shape with her vision in terms of ready to wear, shoes and accessories, including commerciality and communication of the brand,” according to a press release.
Rihanna, who already has the lines Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty, says in a statement that “designing a line like this with LVMH is an incredibly special moment for us ... I couldn’t imagine a better partner both creatively and business-wise and I’m ready for the world to see what we have built together.”
The singer and actor, whose work has earned her a wide range of awards and accolades, including ‘Style Icon’ by the CFDA, is considered to be a fashion inspiration and trendsetter all across from the high street to luxury sectors.
Rihanna, who is a true fashionista and a red carpet favourite, was dearly missed at the recent 2019 Met Gala. Some of her fans missed her at the Gala to such an extent that they even Photoshopped her at the Gala. Out of all the glamorous, camp-inspired celebrities present at the Gala, Rihanna posted a picture of the editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, as the best dressed according to her on her Instagram account.
