It is definitely true that with every passing day everyone is becoming more and more aware of fashion. What we wear, use, in fact even eat, has a hint of design and style to it. Versace showcased its larger-than-life and glamourous show recently and it was full of surprises. While their pre-fall collection was all about prints in multicolours, it was this one particular beauty trend that won us over. Versace debuted the sky-high hair in their fashion show which was specially designed and created for them.
Grace Elizabeth walked the runway for the Italian luxury fashion house. She donned a red blazer with a multi-coloured bodysuit teamed with a pair of red leather pants. But it was actually the way that she had done up her hair which stole the show. Her hair was pulled up in a high ponytail with layers of fake hair added to it to give it a cascading sky high effect. Her ponytail was decorated with a multi-hued Versace brooch.
A similar hairstyle was seen on supermodel Kaia Gerber at Valentino’s runway show. Grace was one of the few models who wore their hair in such a hairdo. The look was created by the same hairstylist from the Valentino show. Guido Palau said, “The big hair was inspired by Pierpaolo Piccioli, he wanted to have some extravagance in the hair and we were looking at old '60s Diana Vreeland Harper's Bazaar and Avedon shoots.”
Faux voluminous hair seems to be the latest ‘it’ trend on the fashion runway. We saw similar looks at Chanel, Giambattista Valli and Fendi to name a few.
We just can’t wait to try out this hairstyle as it is definitely major hair goals for any girl. What do you guys think? Comment below and let us know.
