Yash in KGF
Kannada actor Yash received worldwide recognition last year, thanks to the success of his latest film KGF, directed by Prashanth Neel. The film traces the life of Rocky (played by Yash), a dreaded don who breaks into Kolar Gold Fields and becomes the messiah of people living there.
The makers of KGF are now working on the sequel, which is expected to go on floors in the coming weeks. Last month, KGF: Chapter 2 kicked off with a customary pooja, which was attended by Yash and the rest of the crew.
In a recent interview with the Cinema Express, Yash has opened up about the sequel, which will showcase the fall of Rocky. He said, "This one (KGF: Chapter 2) is going to be bigger and better. I can't wait to unleash the monster." He further added that the second part did not require any preparation as the setup was ready. Currently, the makers are working on the costumes.
According to reports, Yash will join the sets of KGF by the end of May. Yash added that he's excited to play the role of Rocky again.
"I love acting and everything related to it and there's been a gap. The team of KGF - Chapter 2 has just started work on it. Now, I am looking forward to playing Rocky bhai's character again," he added.
KGF, being a Kannada film, did phenomenal business in other languages namely Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi. Earlier, it was reported that the makers had approached Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt to play a significant role.
